TOPIC:TOUCH NOT THE UNCLEAN THING.

-THE WRITTEN WORD-
“And He (Master Jesus) said unto them, take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured unto you; and unto you that hear shall more be given. For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath”…MARK 42:4-25.

“Wherefore come from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing: and I will receive you. And I will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord”….2ND CORINTHIANS 6:17-18.


-THE RECEIVED WORD-
Recently, I purchased a certain book written by a supposedly notable servant of the Lord, who possibly has passed on to the great beyond. I was not in any way led by the Spirit of God to purchase the said book. Someone very close to me said that he perceived that the Lord would like me to read the said book. And I duly purchased the book, and kept it in my room intending to study it as soon as opportunity called. But that was not to be.

Before I could finish the preface to the book, the word of the Lord came expressly to me, through night vision, concerning the said book. Master Jesus appeared and pointed at a copy of the book lying on the ground. He looked very angry - very angry indeed. He pointedly told me that the book was vile, that indeed His Father and our God had pronounced the book abominable. He said that all those involved in the writing of the book were sinners. (Yet the writer of the book, in his preface to the book, described those involved with him in writing the book, and who had passed on, as resting with the Lord in heaven!).

As Master Jesus spoke, He kicked the book into the nearby bottomless pit. And as the book descended into the pit a dark and very offensive smoke came up from the book as it burned. The odor from the burning book was so bad that the Holy Ghost emerged, and demanded to know what was producing such an offensive odor (He specifically called it ‘strange incense). An angel standing nearby answered Him that it was the book in question. I was visibly shaken. I knew I had touched what God said touch not. But He showed me mercy at the end.(Beware, theologians, the Holy Ghost did not manifest in human form, and He never does.)

Please take note of this: Master Jesus disappeared when the Holy Ghost emerged on the scene, which is the pattern in heavenly operations. Whenever any of the Trinities is in operation, the others would step aside as a matter of mutual respect: except in exceptional instances when the Trinity would manifest all at the same time. God is Three in One, but He manifests separately in operation. I will discuss this mystery in future when I would write on the reality of the Trinity and how they manifest in operation. Watch out!).

When Master Jesus reappeared, after that the Holy Ghost had left the scene, He pointedly told me that the book had polluted the room where I kept it – and that I should take steps to re-sanctify the room and the immediate environment. Can one imagine, a book, seemingly written by a seemingly notable servant of God polluting a spiritual environment? But it is true and I lie not, the Holy Ghost bears me witness. But thank God the book could not pollute my person!

The terribly irony about this book is that it was written by a notable and popular person, well accepted in his day as one of the leading theologians. And as I stated earlier in this message, the author of the book, in the preface to the book, had named some folks that he said had helped him in writing the book. Most of them were already dead as at the time of the publication of the book. And he declared that all of them were in heaven in the bosom of the Lord! The same folks who aided a vile and abominable book. all of whom Master Jesus called sinners were now in heaven? There shall indeed be many surprises in heaven. Brethren, whether we believe it or not, there shall be terrible surprises at the gates of heaven for many of us who today profess the name of the Lord.

Men and brethren, the essence of the above testimony is to encourage us to watch what we read and what we hear even as believers. The truth is that what we see and what we hear does either promote us spiritually or pollute us in many ways. When we read or listen to that which heaven regards as vile and accursed, our spiritual environment is polluted. When we listen to that which the Lord has called abominable we end up being polluted. When we watch certain films we end up polluting our persons. We must be wary about what we hear and what we see generally.

People of God, it is ordained that every true child of God should be led by the Spirit of God in his or her daily life. And this matter is mandatory and not a matter of choice. It is the perfect will of God that every true believer be guided by the Spirit of God in his or her day to day life. This leading is mandatory because without that, it will be impossible for any believer to make heaven at last. Without the leading of the Holy Ghost satan will virtually rule the life the believer, thereby making it impossible for whosoever is involved to make heaven at last.

Therefore, people of God, it is a terrible thing for a believer to suggest that he or she is not aware of the leading of the Holy Ghost. (I will discuss this matter in great details in due course.). The point is this; that whosoever is not led by the Spirit of God is not a child of God in the first place. For we know that as many as are led by the Spirit of God are the true sons and daughters of God. The most basic and fundamental evidence of our son-ship of God is that we are led by His Spirit in our day to day lives.That is the word of the living God.

Brethren,there are numerous books and booklets, even tapes and videos in our Christian bookshelves today, that are already adjudged by our God as cursed materials. Many of what we read and hear today as inspirational and devotional books, videos and tapes are considered abominable by God. And in reading them, we pollute our lives thereby exposing us to satanic attacks and manipulation. These materials may even appear very appealing, as many such materials do these days. But we must not walk by sight. We must be led, yes we must - it is a matter of life and death.

And for those that are keeping long libraries of inspirational and devotional books, videos and tapes, it is time to prayerfully ask the Holy Ghost to show you what must be removed and what must be kept. If you are sincere about it He will guide you. He may come in a vision marking the items that are not of God and those that are of Him in separate colors. In any manner He comes, one thing is needful, you must obey Him without hesitation. It is in your best interest to do so.

Brethren, any polluted material in our homes or offices, hinders our relationship with God. Indeed, so long as we keep polluted materials around us the angels that are supposed to protect us would stay far from us. The home, office or business place of every true believer is sanctified and guarded by angels at all times.. But when polluted material show up in such places, these angels would depart and satanic forces would take over – causing all manners of problems in such homes, offices and business places – all manners of problems we can ever imagine, even hindering the prayers of folks. I am writing about a spiritual and practical reality.

Brethren, it does not even matter who authored the book or material in question. It must pass the test: whether it is accepted in heaven or not. It can even be a best seller on earth but a vile and accursed material to heaven. No matter how highly placed a man or woman of God is, he or she can produce that which God rejects. Our God is not a respecter of the persons of men and of women. Whosoever produces any material that is unacceptable to God will face the same consequences. Beware.

Brethren, I perceive that even some of the messages we read daily on this Facebook, and on the internet generally, are vile, satanic and spiritually pollutants. And apart from one being expressly led by the spirit of God, we all must come to the understanding that the language of a write-up can also pollute one’s spiritual environment.  We must guard our hearts jealously for out of them flow the tissues of life. When folks use obscene and vile words, even in messages that appears to be “holy”, such messages end up polluting the hearts of those who read them. The choice of words in any message is very important to our God.

Brethren, we must be firm in handling this matter. There must be no hesitation to cast aside whatever the Spirit of God considers spiritually offensive. There shall be no arguments of whatever sort. The Spirit of God is in us to guide us into all truths. We must of necessity listen to Him or we perish. The most vital difference between a believer and an unbeliever is in this matter: that while the believer is led by the Spirit of God in whatever he or she does, on the other hand the unbeliever is led by the spirit of the world. These are two fundamental issues that cannot be resolved by human reasoning and imagination. It is purely a spiritual matter.
