TOPIC: THEY THAT WAIT UPON THE LORD.
-THE WRITTEN WORD OF GOD-
“A little while and ye shall not see Me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see Me, because I go to My Father. Then said some of His Disciples among themselves: What is this that He saith, a little while? We cannot tell what He saith.
Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask Him, and said unto them; do ye inquire of that I said: a little while, and ye shall not see Me: and a little while, and ye shall see Me?
Verily, verily I say unto you, that ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice. And ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remebereth no more the anguish, for the joy that a man is born into the world.
And ye now therefore have sorrow; but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you”…..John 16: 16-22.
-THE RECEIVED WORD OF GOD-
Our Lord once reminded His disciples, that in this life, they shall have all manners of sorrow. But then He went on to assure them that their sorrows shall yet be turned into joy. And that exactly is what the Holy Ghost is today telling all believers world-wide.
For though sorrow may endure throughout the night, but joy will certainly take over in the morning.
Today, the Holy Ghost is sending a word of comfort to all fretting and sorrowing hearts world-wide. He is telling all of you: weep not, that that sorrow, not matter how long it has endured, shall verily, verily be turned into joy.
-But You Must Wait On The Lord And On Him Alone-
The Holy Ghost is announcing to all sons and daughters of God worldwide, that their heavenly Father is not a man that He will lie; neither is He the son of man that He would repent of His word. Because He said so, surely that sorrow must of necessity submit to joy, even at His appointed time.
But what is my appointed time? When He says it is your appointed time. And you must wait for that time. He makes ALL things beautiful, yet in His own time.
The irony is that many do wait, but not on the Lord. They wait on men, on trends, on the economy of nations, on their strengths and abilities. And in so doing, God leaves them to create their own mornings.
How do I know then that I am waiting on the Lord? You will get to know when your life is Christ-like, when you begin to grow wings as the eagles, when your strength is renewed day by day. You know you are truly waiting on the Lord when you are running and not wearying, and you are walking at not fainting.
-There Is Always A Perfect Time-
Brethren of the Lord, there is a perfect timing for every perfect move of God. There is also His permissive timing for folks who choose to move ahead of Him.
And the Holy Ghost is today reporting, that most believing folks worldwide do not exercise enough patience to wait for that perfect timing - most, almost all!
Yet all things about us can only be made beautiful in that perfect timing. All our sorrows shall be turned into joy when we dare to wait till that very hour – His hour.
-Yet Lasting Joy On Earth Is An Illusion-
Nevertheless, the Holy Ghost is also forewarning us, that though our sorrows shall indeed be turned to joy; but not entirely in this life. We shall only enter the true, heavenly, endless and ultimate joy of the Father when we get to heaven.
Of course, we should know by now, that there is absolutely nothing in this life that can give one a lasting joy. All that we see here are temporary, fleeting, and subject to whither with time. Nothing in this life is sustainable.
Therefore, when I read the wise of this life speaking of sustainable this and sustainable that, I see the limits of human wisdom.
Men and brethren, Christ came that we may have life and have it in abundance: the everlasting, eternal life – life without end. But that kind of life is only found in heaven.
And when believers begin to live here, pretending that they are living out that abundant life, something serious has happened to their conscience. And if it is not corrected fast, it will open a door to endless covetousness and greed- and at the end, eternal misery.
-Live Ready: Do Not Fear, Even Death!-
This message is yet to encourage us to continue to live here even as the pilgrims that we are. Every believer is a journey man on earth, and we must live as such.
We must not allow the lusts of the flesh of the things of this life to overcome our heavenly consciousness. We must live ready, always prepared to go to our perfect home whenever the invitation comes.
Most importantly, we must not live in fear of death. It is appointed unto every man and woman, once to die, then judgment. Death therefore is a necessary end. It is the compulsory first step we must take as we ascend the steps of heaven.
Therefore refuse to be afraid, even of death. Neither sorrow endlessly for them that have gone unto eternal bliss. If you must sorrow, you must sorrow for yourselves, especially if you do not have assurance of where your own journey would end.
We are soldiers of the Cross of our Lord. We must be ready for all eventualities.
-Also Live Moderately-
Our Lord Jesus Christ once spoke of a rich farmer that was boasting of how to invest his earthly riches. That very night the Father demanded the man’s soul. Master Jesus then put out a question: whose would be all that that man had acquired? You must not allow that same question to be asked of your person.
In the Book of Matthew, in chapter six thereof, the Lord instructs His people not to worry about what to eat, what to wear - about this and about that. He said that after all those things do the folks of this life seek. He then encourages us to seek His kingdom first, and having secured it, to continue in the righteousness therein. And that then and only then shall all our needs be supplied by heaven.
For the Father knows that we have need of such things.
-Murmur Not, Complain Not, Fret Not-
Why then are you worried? Why is your soul troubled? Why are you fretting at the riches of another? Why do you wet your pillow at night because of the things of this life? Why are you troubled about the way your country is going? Why are you living in fear of the known and the unknown?
If ye be a true believer, that is, if you are saved, and you are carefully walking in the fear of God day and night, let your heart be at rest. Let the peace of God that passes all understanding avail you and yours.
Have you not read that the Father desires that we call upon Him in the day of trouble? He promises to answer us. And He has always answered. So, why fret and sorrow? Get into the secret of your room today, if you have one. Even if you do not have any, find a quiet place, and talk to Him.
Call upon the Lord. Tell Him about it all. Show Him your scars if you have some. Tell Him of that pain. He listens. He will hear you, and He will answer you. Yes, He will.
Murmuring and complaining only prolong our sorrows. If that sorrow must pass away soon, then you must learn to trust the Lord. Never accuse Him of any wrong, never, either openly or even in your heart. He can never be wrong. He is always right.
According to the Holy Ghost, the happiest folks on earth and in heaven are the patient in heart – those who endure till the end. Will you endure?
-Fear Is Sinful And Destructive-
Again, you must cast that fear aside. Receive this secret if you are willing: once we walk in fear, we offend the Father. When we walk in fear, our guardian angels retreat from us, and we are exposed to whatever we fear. Fear is of satan. His other name is fear.
Whosoever walks in fear has unconsciously subjected himself or herself to the will of satan without realizing it.
Fear is offensive to our God. Why: because He is jealous. God cannot stand His own walking in fear of anything or any person other than of Himself!
Satan himself lives in perpetual fear of God, your heavenly Father. And the same God lives in you. Why then fear satan and his works? Consider that and apply your hearts to true wisdom.
Cast that fear aside. If you don’t, be assured that what you fear will suddenly come upon you.
Brethren of the Lord, spiritual things walk in ways many do not realize. When we live in fear and imagine evil coming upon us, that imagination ends up creating that evil. I am revealing divine secrets for those who care to know. Our imaginations are creative, negatively and positively.
-Believe And Keep Believing-
Brethren, we must believe God and His word of God - and then keep believing, even till the end, if necessary. We must stir our hope, even when it seems hopeless. Remember the recent words of the Holy Ghost in one of our past posts: that there is always hope. Yes, there is always hope, but for them that dare to believe and keep believing.
Do not allow the enemy to steal your hope, for in it lies the heavenly power that drives away all shame.
Keep holding on to the words of the Father. The assurance of the Holy Ghost to all of us is this: that He that will come will come and will not tarry. Though He tarries, wait, and keep waiting. He will not tarry. He will come at His own appointed time – and He makes all things beautiful in His own time.
For the trial of our faith worketh patience. And patience is one of the compulsory fares we all must pay on our journey to heaven.
